Customer photo review of Wren Treadlite Broadfork | Multiple Sizes Available | 10" tines

Our garden area was solid brick like clay. We had tried rototilling but it was no go. I saw an add for treadlite and knew that was the answer. It took a while to get the technique down but i worked at it until I understood and the results were great. We later got some organic mulch and fertilizer and rototilled it in and now we're ready to plant!

I am so impressed with the broadfork we purchased!!! Gardening is completely new for my wife and I. I am so glad we stumbled upon this broadfork!!! It worked flawlessly and I even hit rocks and tree roots. Now I just hope our soil is sufficient for plant growth lol

Amazing tool. My girlfriend and I leased a little plot of land and this was a life saver!! It’s actually fun to use as well as incredibly effective! In fact, we were sad when we ran out of ground to work! It’s super well made.

Customer photo review of Wren Treadlite Broadfork | Multiple Sizes Available | 10" tines

I have been fighting a patch of Johnson grass, since I received my Treadlite even though the soil has lots of those Arkansas rocks, I believe I may have finished tackling that headache. Believe me when I say there was more rock than soil. I look forward to making some perennial and garden beds soon.

Customer photo review of Wren Treadlite Broadfork | Multiple Sizes Available | 10" tines

The Wren has been up to the challenge of East Tennessee's rocky red clay soil that my 16" Troy-Bilt Super Bronco tiller would just bounce off of. I like the fact that I can actually roll the clods by pulling the tines in backwards motion as I extract the fork.

We purchased this item for our community tool library, and the workmanship is high quality. Welds are strong and clean, and made from high quality material. The ash wood handles are sturdy, but we purchased this model for easy replacement. (Our tools get misused and abused, from time to time.)

I’m excited to finally have my own! I also feel so good about the price I paid which was significantly less than all the other companies I saw. It came super quickly, was so easy to assemble and is wonderfully light. I’ve used much heavier all metal broadforks before and this one is so easy to handle in comparison. Great purchase, I would highly recommend. Makes the work SO easy!

This was a birthday gift for a friend who really wanted a broad fork for her farm gardens She said it was the best birthday gift, ever I have to admit, a big part of me wanted to keep it 😆

So easy my 5 year old can use it. The only downside is that it arrived with a flaw in one if the wood handles which gave me a cut when I used it. There is a sharp jagged piece of wood sticking off. But this has been very helpful for my gardening needs.

Customer photo review of The Wren Treadlite Broadfork

I used my Wren to turn over a garden on a steep slope that had been allowed to go to weed. My broadfork was small enough for me to use on the slope, yet tough enough to handle the weeds. It enabled me to get the garden prepared for planting quickly and efficiently. I’m very pleased with this tool!

Customer video review of The Wren Treadlite Broadfork

We have a 12’ x 32’ backyard garden and in the past we used a very small tiller that only dug down about 6” deep at best and took about 4 hours to do a good job. Plus fighting with gas and spark plug and oil and getting it started! With this new Treadlite broadfork we dug a full 8” deep and from start to finish was 3 hours! It was so easy to push it into the soil with both feet. We will NEVER use a rototiller again. This was amazing and we’ve told so many people about it!

Customer photo review of The Wren Treadlite Broadfork | 5 tines | 8 lbs

The broadfork far exceeded my expectations for quality construction, design and ease of use. It was exactly the tool needed for the yard reclamation project I had. It was very easy to control around stones, shallow areas of soil, tree roots, etc. I’m 67 and was able to use it with no aches and pains. Thank you so much!

The Wren Treadlite Broadfork | 5 tines | 8 lbs

Easy on the joints, more natural to use than a shovel when prepping beds. Not sure why I never knew about a broadfork. The construction, the weight, and its intended purpose are very practical and make turning soil way quicker.

Wren Treadlite Broadfork | Multiple Sizes Available | 10" tines

My Broadfork came wrapped up nicely and is eco-friendly with little to no plastic involved. Customer service was quick and attentive to my emails. The product is made with clear intention and care. Happy to have it! Looking forward to trying it out today!

I am a 72 year old woman that decided to add a pumpkin patch in my garden for my granddaughter. I needed to remove a good deal of sod! I wanted a tool for the job and found your broad fork on an online search. What a game changer! I wish I had purchased this tool years ago as it made the job a relatively easy one! Thank you!

Wren Treadlite Broadfork | Multiple Sizes Available | 10" tines

Breaks soil nicely. Unexpected that I have to reach all the way to the ground to finish popping up the soil.I’m 72 and my back doesn’t like reaching all the way to the ground, stretching all the way to the ground is my least favorite thing in the everyday life.

Wren Treadlite Broadfork | Multiple Sizes Available | 10" tines

Pretty much, I just needed something to loosen the soil so that I could dig in it. This delivers. I can dig a garden (using Jeavon's Biointensive double dig method) without my husband and with a toddler running around!

Wren Treadlite Broadfork | Multiple Sizes Available | 10" tines

Honestly I love it. My right leg, ribs, shoulder and a few vertebrae were badly broken in a cycling accident last year and this has really helped me get back into gardening as I recover. I've lost the physical ability to use a spade shovel with my feet as a result of the accident, but this broakfork works wonders to loosen soil with ease, which in turn makes weeding, turning over beds and planting a breeze. No more jumping on a spade shovel for me! Unfortunately, after a great first couple of days and massive progress in the garden beds, I snapped the ash handles off after snagging a large shrub root ball. Oh well though, just bought new replacement handles. The head is unscathed and built to last. Also cool that it is made in Wisconsin (I'm in Cross Plains near Madison). Great Product!
