I've put the broadfork to work and its great. I dont have pictures of my work but I did take a couple pictures when it arrived. I inspected the tool upon arrival and noticed a gap on the welds on one of the handle slots. There was also some rough finish on the powder coating. Although this may just be superficial and not affect the integrity of the tool, I would expect this wouldn't pass a product inspection before shipping. Just my personal opinion. Hope she holds up!

We do stand behind the tools, if there is any issue in performance let us know and we will make it right!

Very nice tool. Very best on the market. Cannot recommend enough! Super sturdy, gets into the hard pan in my plot no problem. Excellently constructed. I suspect it’ll be an heirloom to pass down for generations to come.
I’m very happy with this tool. It’s of the quality level I hoped for and performs exactly as the site portrays. I have extremely tight, clay soil that is essentially “new” planting ground. My Troy-Bilt Horse is a very nice machine, but it sort of skims the surface and isn’t the right tool to break up this type of earth for the first time. I had to be patient with the broadfork and work slowly, rocking back and forth, but eventually it goes. I purchased the wood handles, and as the description states, it works. However, I should’ve heeded the recommendation for steel handles in my situation. The steel handles would’ve allowed me to work quite a bit faster because I could use more force. Very fun, very nice tool.
Instead of having to use the shovel four times to go across my area. I do one stroke with a the broad fork and move back. Saved me lots of time! I bought the all steel model, costly but will last forever! Had a small issue assembling it but the company called me the same day and gave me strategies to get it done and it worked (Handle tolerance was very tight).
My broadfork arrived quickly as promised. It certainly does what it is intended to do, i.e., breaking up the soil deeply. I turned my first bed, which already existed, in one pass. I haven't broken new ground yet and I'm anxious to see how it does in our soil in that scenario. I had an unrealistic expectation as it turns out of what the final appearance would be of the turned soil. It still took quite a bit of effort with hoe and rake to break down the clumps of soil turned by the broadfork. That's on me and my misunderstanding not the company. I must say that I felt good about not using my gasoline powered tiller this spring and the "workout" of using the broadfork was good for me. All in all, I'm very pleased with the purchase. I was also appreciative of the customer service I received prior to the sale.

The ground on our property had been neglected before we bought it so we invested a Treadlite Broadfork in order to break it up and let it retain moisture and breathe again. This thing has been amazing for starting new garden areas as well as breaking up areas of the “lawn” that are so compacted we couldn’t get anything to grow. These are sturdy tools that will provide years of spring time exercise!

Hello Ashley? Thank you for checking in on my order. This is my second fork. The first one served me very well. I bought it in January 2021 and I owned and operated a no till farm in Davis, then 5 years later I decided to sell off my farm and move and start another farm. I would have taken the broadfork with me but it was included in the sale of my goods. Old Fork vs. New Fork Old fork was beefy, metal handles were very strong and they never bent even under the harshest solid heavy clay soil. The metal handles were smooth and not so grippy. Over the years, my hand sweat had eaten away at the metal and had a patina to it. The 30” 7 tine fork was perfect to break up the clay soil and I love the holes in the sides of the blades. It’s like a santoku knife where the indents help prevent potatoes from sticking to the sides or in this case soil, and also reduces the weight so you don’t get tired. New fork it feels different. It’s beefy but also tactile. It seems lighter in weight, the metal handles are a different metal or something is coated on it. I like it. It seems shorter than the older fork. Also the new fork has wood nubs in the handle holes which I think is great. The best thing about the fork blade part for the old and new fork is the extension on the side. I love being able to stand on the outside of the handles and get better human weight on the outside. Would I order the fork again? Well I already did and I might have to buy a third. 1 fork for 6 acres is my bottle neck.

Love this thing, haven't had a chance to use it yet but its HUGE. Doubles as a home defense tool. And I appreciated that all the packaging was just brown cardboard and paper, will be fed to my worms and reintegrated in the soil.
The customer service was very kind and helpful regarding any questions and the broadfork is absolutely amazing! Love the quality

It is super hard to find a 30in broadfork, this product exceeded our expectations.
I was caught up in the advertising of the 30 inch market knife. A day or so after ordering I began wondering if that was the right size for me. I called the company and after a good discussion of my needs it was suggested that I get a 20 inch broad knife. That’s what I received they refunded the difference and I’m very happy with my order. This is a perfect size for my urban gardening. I am not a market gardener. In addition to my garden, I am turning over sod to establish a bigger perennial garden. This is the perfect tool. I highly recommend this instead of a motorized tiller.
Works as advertised, no issues with the product or shipment. A+++++
This breaks up my clay soil real well. The steel handles are a bit heavy but durable for the force I need to apply.
Very easy to assemble. Easy to use. My kids (7 & 9) were able to use it. They helped each other move it through the garden, giggling as they ‘jumped’ on it to get it into the soil. Happy garden helpers = happy mom. Thank you!
First broadfork for me. Delivery was a day or two late, but as soon as it arrived, I unpacked it, and had it assembled in less than 10 minutes. Very easy. I've used it 4 times in the past week, and it is truly a gamechanger for our soil building endeavors in the garden of our new home. I'm very happy so far.
Perfect tool for loosening the soil without destroying the microbiome.
I'm not sure if it solved the problem the way I wanted but it worked perfectly and good quality
More fun to use than I had anticipated. Very effective at breaking up compacted soil. Expensive, but happy with the quality and results.
Very easy to assemble and get started. The broadfork easily broke up our clay soil. The two handles make the work symmetrical so much less soreness. Outstanding tool!
It works well. Assembly was a little tasking. The bolt holes on the fork didn’t line up with one of the wood poles well. I got my drill out and made it work. Other than that, im very happy with the product. Anyone else would be as well. I look forward to the health of my soul benefitting from how deep the tines can go.

Im a hobbiest fabricator and work as a welder, this is extremely well made.
Bought the 30" broadfork with steel handles. Used it to aerate the soil to give water a better chance to soak in and not run off. Open up the ground easily. Slowly at first, but the pace picked up. With persistent D2-D3 drought (OK) I am having to switch from conventional tilling to regenerative gardening (still learning). Money well spent.

It's February, the ground is frozen, sorry.
It is still winter here, so we haven't used it in the field yet, but it definitely feels sturdy and we look forward to putting it to the test when the soil thaws.
Solid as a rock. The steel handles are a line to line fit in the body. The welds are perfect. This will outlast me.
Thing is a beast! I can’t wait to get in into the ground in a few weeks! I love it!
Works great but I broke both wooden handles the first day I used it. My ground is very clay based. Would recommend getting the steel handles if you have hard soils. I ordered a replacement set to replace them with, otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Probably my fault for them breaking not the tools.
