Happy Mother's Day!

Mother's Day 2017 is in the books, and I hope you were able to do something to make it memorable with your kids, your own Mom or some awesome Mom's in your life! I am grateful that I was able to spend the day with my own amazing Momma and my 2 sweet girls!

Travis tried to convince me to take the day off and relax, so to the garden we went! The garden is my happy place, and what better gift on Mother's Day than to share my happy place with my kids. Brooke got in on the gardening fun by helping me broadfork a few sections of our garden beds that we were prepping for planting our cucumbers, squash and melons. She helped with the whole process of broadforking, raking the soil smooth and flat, mounding the soil, dropping in the seeds and watering... but when we asked her about her favorite part it was finding all the "Slimeys" (aka worms) in the soil after we broadforked. Love that girl! :)
