From our family to yours...
Fall, AKA Harvest Season in our family, is always a busy time of year but this year has been extra busy as we welcomed our second little gardener to the family mid-September. This has made our growing season a little more special with each harvest knowing we are growing and preserving garden fresh produce for our newest daughter. I was gifted a Magic Baby Bullet food processor system which has come super handy when making our own baby food! I know there are lots of wonderful healthy options to buy at the local grocery store but isn't there something so fulfilling knowing you grew and prepared the first foods your baby will eat? Tips & Tricks
There is still time to sow late season crops. Arugula, kohlrabi, turnip, peas and carrots are entering prime time for late season sowng. With time being short the likelyhood of a tender harvest is higher so get planting and remember to watch the forecast. Don't hesitate to harvest early ahead of a frost.
